What do you want to see?

This is the first post of the blog I've set up for the NASCO People of Color Caucus. I will set up the privacy settings so that only those on the email list can see this blog, and we can adjust that as we see fit.

I've heard people talk about some of this topic I'll bring up, but I'd like to open more space to list people's concerns, to start with.

I'll hopefully encourage others to say what they feel by starting.

I really would love to see my own co-op show they understand how their exclusivity on cultural factors in membershipping (i.e., we want to know if people like reading certain philosophers, or like certain music, things that by themselves seem small) can mean they exclude people of color, queer and trans folk, people of faith, people of different ability, etc.

Are there any things going on where you're at that are really cool, kicking or just weird? You can share that too, maybe it'll help others with ideas we have.
